You almost never see a before/after of a trans person where they look healthier and happier in the before pic. I guess it’s natural that coming out and being yourself is going to have a positive impact on how you look. The change is amazing to see sometimes.
Honestly its wild to see timeline photos and such because like yeah, ive never seen such unbridled joy and happiness and love of life out of anyone else ive ever met on the planet. I think maybe it finally being true to oneself, and maybe faking it feels like a prison.
Now that i say it, i have seen this joy before, on wrongfully convicted people when they get released after 20+ yrs 🤔🤔
I’ve seen a couple posts online from trans folks who took a photo every day at the same angle/distance from the camera, then turned them into a 30fps .gif or something to turn a years-long process into a few seconds time lapse. It’s pretty fucking wild seeing it unfold so fluidly and so quickly.
That must be an insane amount of extra work, but if any of you were looking for a project…
