I hate Elon as much as the next guy, but it’s fucking annoying to go to any special interest community and just see the same shitty comments I’ve read a million times under every news story or meme post already. I don’t need that in my spaceflight community.

If not, then you’re just one of those people that has to inject venom into things for fun, which I tend to think is very much a detriment to any community. Was a permaban the right starting place? Maybe not, but damned if I wouldn’t have been tempted to do the same thing. Some shit just does not do anything useful, and if someone is doing one of those things, they’ll likely do others.

I’m not sure why someone capable of that kind of great comment would also make the one you’re posting about.
