Sex and the City-types of women. The ones that live very superficial, materialistic lives and I’m somehow supposed to be impressed with that. To me they are female Patrick Bateman and I don’t trust them.
I used to really dislike the color pink because I associated it with “air heads.” Then I grew up and realized it’s totally ok to like pink, and liking a color does not make you dumb. Judging people based on their color choice is kind dumb though.
I know this doesn’t really answer your question, but it felt relevant.
I hate pink because my mother made me have everything pink when I was a kid. Now I’ve come to appreciate certain shades of pink, but in flowers. Not in clothes.
Yeah I’ve had a similar aversion for the longest time to pink and super floral designs (hard to explain but there’s a particular style of mega feminine girly floral I’m thinking of). I’m working on it but it was something I thought was always a step too far for me to wear.
I think the amount of money some women spend on makeup/manicures/hair is obscene. I know women at work who spend hundreds of dollars a month on that stuff and then complain that they’re poor. I just see it as waste.
Cooking. An ordinarily average task turned mundane by how often it needs to be done. It’s a time sink. I prefer baking, it is optional and somehow more varied.
Ugh this so much. If I had the metabolism and appetite of a snake, I’d love cooking.
I’m hungry again? I just ate yesterday!!
Pregnancy. I know a lot of cis women like having kids the organic way and a lot of transfems wish they could get pregnant (gods bless the t4t sapphics who try anyway), but I’m glad I don’t have a uterus. I don’t wanna get pregnant, I don’t wanna give birth, and I always thought the idea of wanting kids who share your DNA is kinda eugenicsy. I’m very happy with My adopted kids. I didn’t have to change any nappies, I got to skip to the fun stuff. And the world has enough babies already!
Had a kid, totally agree with you on all counts!
the period. i am lucky enough that it does not hinder me and does mostly not really hurt (i just have to be conscious about switching tampons on time)
but i also dont like hearing about the experiences of woman who have horrible periods. not because that the topic is bad but that often they dont get proper care (had a friend where the doctor told she should take the pill without pause which was horrible)
Its like a source for horror storiesShopping, honestly. I wish I could just yoink the style right off people and have clothing to buy without having to walk around a big noisy store where the lights are too bright.
It can be fun with someone else, but for very short periods of time and it’s more about doing something together than it is about the shopping part. I’d be just as happy playing a video game together.
Same - especially for shoes. I have weird feet that are hard to fit.
Weddings and such. I like a relaxed and casual atmosphere and feel out of place at formal and performative events.
Romance novels and films: I find them dull.
I actually love personal styling like hair, makeup, nails, and jewelry but I do these things infrequently and by myself because I can’t be arsed with the time and maintenance costs that go into getting them done professionally, and they usually get in the way of the things I do daily.
When its ok for a female to do things ‘as a joke’ to guys and they have to take it bcos its cute and endearing, but when guys do to females, it gets called out as mean or abusive.
Look, I agree with your sentiment, but I don’t know if you subconsciously use the words ‘female’ and ‘guys’ as if they are equivalent or if it is a deliberate choice.
Still rude either way, though if it is the former, I hope you can understand why. Female, male, woman, man, you get the idea.

This definitely shows how the world takes women’s actions a lot less seriously a lot of the time, but that language really makes it seem like it’s coming from a biased place. It’s almost counterproductive framing women in such a dehumanizing way while talking about how women aren’t taken seriously.
Are you a woman or a nonbinary person?
You should really read the rules of this community before posting. This is a space for women and woman-aligned nonbinary folks. It is not a space for men or their shitty hot takes.
And no, I’m not assuming. I made sure I checked beforehand as to not misgender you
Make-up, I guess. Look, I make everyone who wears it look amazing in my insistence on not putting that distracting stuff on my face. I bring the average down!
I HATED (kinda still am) using make up for as long as I remember. I use it now, but very minimally. Other than sunscreen, only one makeup stuff I always use when I go out to avoid unnecessary comments. The others are optional.
The whitecast on some even untinted mineral sunscreens is almost like foundation.
