Stayed at house in Colorado where the guy would make drinks and food for the multiple groups staying there. He invited us to have some barbecue and he fed his chickens while we chilled in his backyard.

What a different experience that is to these F tier hotel rooms.

DFW part of Texas, it’s mostly hot throughout the year. I let my thermostat get a bit warm when no one is home to save on energy cost there.

The winters here get cold, but not that bad and not for very long so the heater doesn’t need to be on that much. Usage does go down during those months. We peak around 1400 or so in the hottest months.

My usage is so consistent I happily took an energy plan that was more expensive unless my energy usage stays between 1000-2000 kwh, where they give a $100 usage credit.

That’s surprising. I live in an area with no gas connections, so everything is electric. We average a little over 1000kwh a month every month.

I do live in a hot place so we rely on air conditioning a lot, maybe that’s the difference.

Is this weekly or monthly? If monthly, where the hell are people using only 600 kwh a month?

Just look through their post history, a lot of their comments/posts are inflammatory.

This would never work. It actually would 100% lead to being mass downvoted. Not just reddit, but here too.

I think that, considering the goal of ensuring the LLM doesn’t directly reproduce the training data, it really doesn’t matter. I don’t think trillions of characters arranged into words so something can spit out the most likely combination of those words back at me really has anything to do with how those words are sourced.

I also have no issue with piracy and think IP laws are currently way too strongly in favor of IP holders. Maybe my moral compass is off or something, idk.

Bad VA in a language I don’t speak is still better than a good dub in most cases for me. I can separate the voice acting from reality and make it part of the character.

Bad VA in English is just so noticeable. Like, I’m not that good at hearing intent in Japanese, other than obvious emotion, but with English it often sounds like they’re trying to sound like an animated character.
