I’ve had 1200 hours over 8 years out of Terraria and I bought it for £3.49!
I’m sure I’ll add another 100 hours once 1.4.5 hits Tmodloader.
Truly one of the best games of all time IMO. They really deserve their 70 million sales.

The only mark against these setpieces are the Horizon hosts: influencer types characterised by endless, pointless babbling. Remember, though: you can turn off all NPC speech in the settings.
Thank fuck for that. I had to rename all the voice files to get them to shut up in FH4 as you could only turn the NPC volume to 1/10!
An account is an inanimate thing… you can’t accuse it of anything.
You are accusing the person controlling the account of running a bot (which you have zero proof for except vibes) instead of addressing their argument.
That’s as classic ad-hominem as it gets.
Much of the bad stuff in cigarette smoke is caused by combustion. Cannabis smoke shares many of these chemicals also due to combustion.

You’ll have to literally join a queue to get one
What? RPS writing sucks.

FYI you can put &t=265 on the end of the URL for the timestamp.

Many of those wireless issues are because the ISO doesn’t include the firmware rather than it having an older kernel - usually because the firmware isn’t free software. Have seen loads of posts where after installing through ethernet or a tethered phone everything works.

It’s not new. It would usually have been included in their regular release but now they have moved to a longer release schedule so need to release these HWE ISOs instead.
Current Mint kernel is 6.14 I think which is from last year so not that old.

I don’t think it was missing. They’ve moved to a longer release schedule (next will be end of this year) so now they need to release interim ISOs for kernel hardware support changes.

One of them was me. I only used facebook for marketplace. Went to renew my listings one day and it asked me for age ID verification to relist a Pink Floyd boxed set. I then instantly deleted my account.

AFAIK it was the EU that forced Apple to adopt USB-C, at least on iPhones, dunno if that applies to their laptops too.

We will do better
I can’t believe anyone believes this anymore. They’ve been doing mea culpas and promising to be better for over 20 years.

This is hilarious and super on point. Thanks for the laugh :D

If you have a mobile phone you just just connect it to your laptop via USB and turn on tethering to use your mobile data.

That was certainly one of the articles of all time.
Linux advocates would likely say that ChromeOS isn’t ‘real’ Linux because it’s specifically made for the mass market.
It’s not a purity test. Most people just don’t mean ChromeOS when they say Linux.
Nevertheless, however easy it might be use Gnome, or KDE, or any of the rest, there hasn’t been a mass migration from Windows.
Why? Because there’s still too much, well… Linux in there.
No, it’s because most people don’t know what Linux, an OS or an ISO is and wouldn’t know where to start changing their operating system if they even realise it’s a possibility.
This article is just the author tearing down a succession of strawmen of his own making + some big linux NIMBY vibes.
Same here. My local backups are rsync -av --delete
