This is probably over simplified, a refinery produces anything from plastic to jet fuel and lubricants from the same crude oil batch so while the number might be correct for gasolines part in the mix, removing it from the process would likely cause some efficiency loss in the processes, and those 6kwh would not be reclaimed in full.
With that said, we need to lower dependency on all oil products.
I saw it with my kids but 2 was a disappointment. Marty is a completely different character and the charm of the first is all give imo.
But the first one is a banger for sure.

Fun theory which is denied by Russia is that the origin of the name Russia. Kiev, kievska-rus was a viking hub at the time and when Russia expanded to cover kiev it was briefly the dev facto capital of Russia due to its size and trade, and so other cities got the suffix rus, such as mockba-rus. Eventually it was called rusland, meaning Swedish land.
