I always say it depends on the videogame. Strategy games can even be stimulating as it makes you think more.

Definitely tankies. Not just on Ukraine but they hate anarchists for some reason. Once I said that I support anarchism, and someone just trolled me and said “EnGeLs sAiD tHiS oN wHy AnArChIsM SuCkS aNd yOu sHoUlD dIe”. I rebutted as to why he is quoting a man as if he’s Jesus and why still support an ideology that had proven itself to be self-collapsing.
A lot are clearly bots.

7·5 days agoCybersecurity isn’t taken seriously enough especially by the public sector. Most fraud aren’t done the old school way of physical heist, it’s done online now. AI and quantum computers will only make it worse.
That said, as much as people rightfully hate AI, there is a point that slowing down AI could be a matter of national security. For all we know, it could be a state actor involved in the hacking of the Danish registry. We must slow down the development of AI, but undemocratic bad faith actors who don’t care about public opinion won’t slow it down.

Portuguese people kept falling in love with the Brazilian beaus, greatest cultural exchange in history…
A trend started by Dom Pedro I of Brazil. When he had the chance to return to Portugal after the country was liberated from Napoleonic forces, he was like “Nah fam, I’m staying here.” Not least because he’s the emperor of Brazil but genuinely loves the country. To be fair to him, he was pretty progressive for his time despite being the monarch.
Maybe he’s had a good sleep. Children could sleep so easily and soundly. But it does sound like time really is perception.
I’ve had a similar experience except my eyes seem to be open? The first time it happened, I woke up and just stared at the ceiling. My mind was completely blank and it was very peaceful. I think I’ve done it for maybe one hour after realising what happened but it felt very quick. The second time it happened was on another occasion when i also stared at the ceiling. It seems to only happen when i stare at a completely white surface.
I have anendophasia which means I have little to no internal voice. Maybe I have done meditation by accident because of just how my mind works. When i do try to meditate, I don’t get a completely blank mind, but when i don’t even try I achieved it somehow.

World News@quokk.au•“Bad News for Russia”: EU Releases $7.53 Billion Ukraine Package
2·14 days agoMate, you are a broken clock. I don’t know who you are trying to convince here unless you are trying to get more 50cents to leave your job in St Petersburg Institute and get a plane ticket out of your literal dumpster fire country, thanks to Ukrainian kinetic sanctions caused by their drones. The West as a collective dwarfs the Russian economy despite the huge resources. Your country is also clearly struggling to subdue a tiny country and getting your oil fields devastated by that tiny country. You are not really trying to convince anyone. Ukraine and the West will be fine. It’s your country who will become vassalise by another power, namely China. Do yourself a favour and leave the country before your descendants pay for the generational debt to China.

4·14 days agoThe US really pissed away any strategic advantage it may have had with that little stunt sanctioning a few justices and prosecutors.
You don’t understand the fascist perspective. They think international cooperation and consensus is not a strategic advantage BUT a hindrance. They only think hard power is the only power.
But paradoxically, truth be told, there has never been an international order or law to follow. Joe Biden himself affirmed that US will invade the International Criminal Court if an American citizen is arrested. Trump and co. simply took the mask off.
