oh yeah!! two days ago we were at a local charity shop, procuring some handtools to make a toolkit for our motorcycle, and came across a stack of three ammunition cans, priced $30 for all of them. the fun part was when the cashier typed $20 into the sale system (unsure why), and further discounts brought it down to $15 or so. $5 each for some very durable and watertight containers!
one of them ended up being the toolbox, and we’ll probably mount it along with another one on the motorcycle. don’t know what we’ll do with the third.
another cool find was an old 960-watt PA amplifier complete with a couple loudspeakers for $36 total! as you may expect it gets very loud.
