Québec French, while different in some ways to the varieties of French found in Europe, is still very much French. Never mind the fact that most Francophones currently live in African countries.

What’s up with the quotes around “French” in Québec French?
Québec French, while different in some ways to the varieties of French found in Europe, is still very much French.
