I’m sitting at the airport people watching and feeling the same discomfort with my body and appearance that I’ve always felt, and I wonder how many women don’t feel like that and what it’s like.
Its exhausting and honestly makes me want to not be alive a lot of the time.
Edit: All my t-girl homies spotting the dysphoria right away 😅, I didn’t really want this to be about my dysphoria I guess, but well spotted.

I’m, put simply, over it. I am not a model, I am not an actress, my worth and value as a human is not based on having a flat tummy or a perfect face. I am a human covered in hair, little red bumps, scars, lumpy bits and odd little freckles. My body serves just about all of the purposes I need it to on a daily basis and that’s good enough for me. I can do gardening, go dancing, lift my kid to do airplane and carry all the groceries. Life is too short not to eat the cookie.
I’m glad, and I agree, we don’t need to be perfect.
