I’m sitting at the airport people watching and feeling the same discomfort with my body and appearance that I’ve always felt, and I wonder how many women don’t feel like that and what it’s like.
Its exhausting and honestly makes me want to not be alive a lot of the time.
Edit: All my t-girl homies spotting the dysphoria right away 😅, I didn’t really want this to be about my dysphoria I guess, but well spotted.

I’m pre-HRT still, waiting until next month to start the readiness assessment when my doctor gets back from vacation, but I’ve stopped shaving my arms for a bit since the cat scratched me pretty good when we were playing not long ago, and I want to wait for those wounds to heal before starting again.
Seeing my hair grow back on my arms reminds me how much I hate body hair. I’m going to start waxing soon, and I’m really hoping that making a habit of that will help keep it away for longer.
Always hated looking at myself in the mirror, or in photos and videos either.
I understand what you mean. If you can afford it, go for laser.
Quick plug for sugar wax. It’s gentler, cheap, can be made at home, and after the up front cost of muslin strips and a wax warmer, costs you almost nothing but time.
