I’m sitting at the airport people watching and feeling the same discomfort with my body and appearance that I’ve always felt, and I wonder how many women don’t feel like that and what it’s like.

Its exhausting and honestly makes me want to not be alive a lot of the time.

Edit: All my t-girl homies spotting the dysphoria right away 😅, I didn’t really want this to be about my dysphoria I guess, but well spotted.

I’m fine with myself, but at 39 it’s like an ongoing battle with others not to project their insecure bs at me. I am the way I am. For example, someone commented (here) my choice of bra would give “uniboob” like…okay? Who cares if each boob is an individual and everyone knows it? Not me. My girls are comfortable and my back feels fine. Irl people like to say I’m like a little kid/childlike and yes I’m 5’/petite, and yes I do report them to HR after the first “I don’t like you talking about my body.”So I’m fine with me but sometimes it’s other people who just aren’t fine with themselves and comment on others I suspect.
