We’re all doomed. Accepting it is a great path to setting down the burden of knowing. Seriously, it’s not nearly as bad once you just acknowledge to yourself that the worst people have all the power, the others with power don’t give a fuck about the rest of us, and you are absolutely powerless by design. It doesn’t mean give up; it means be honest with yourself and do what you can to push back anyway.

There is no point to worrying about the things you cannot change - you cannot change them.

There is no point to worrying about the things you can change - you can just change them.

Because while worrying has never made anything better, it has often made things worse.

You already have the function of understanding, if something needs to be done you’ll do it, if nothing needs to be done you’ll save your energy. But when worrying, you neither get anything done, nor save any energy.

What’s more is, if something really does end up going wrong, because of all the worrying, you’ll be too anxious do something about it in a clear state of mind, and you’ll create even more problems that you’ll need to do even more about down the road, which in turn you also will not do well with, continuing the endless cycle.

When worrying comes don’t get involved with it, just let it come or go.

When action is necessary your hands and feet will move as if by themselves.

    It gives you wrinkles.
Laughing gives also the wrinkles, but the good kind of wrinkles.
Have you heard the one about the Parsnip what got his face slapped? He was being Fresh.
