I was lurking on lemmy for awhile but really I didn’t think I would ever post but this community is so sweet and I wanted to be a part of it so bad !! I feel like I see a few usernames posting on here very regularly but honestly I have no idea how people make friends on here and I’m kinda shy lolll.

You need to apply to join (say hi in the Genderverse Applications room, then have a short one-on-one chat with a moderator, albeit it’s nighttime for the main one). Then you’ll receive an invite to the actual rooms, which are numerous and quite busy, usually several folks are online at any time of day.
Also, please add pronouns to your profile page!
adding pronouns is not a must; but if you don’t, then other people will guess and assume.
