Usually my family eats about 20 waffles, so I will increase the waffle recipe on the back of the box by 50%. I must have not been paying attention because somehow the batter was too watery. I ended up scooping another cup and a half (3/4 pint) of flour into it to soak up the excess wet.

I also added some additional baking powder and sugar into the batter to balance it out. From this pile, we only need 8 more waffles. The rest go into the freezer.
