President Volodymyr Zelensky pushed back against pressure from the U.S. to stop attacking Russian oil refineries, writing on social media on Oct. 11 that Moscow first needs to stop targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

“The real cause of the war in Europe is Russia, and Russia alone. It is already possible today to halt the attacks on our energy sector, but (Vladimir) Putin does not want to do so,” Zelensky said.

You shouldn’t welcome war and harm to ail your political enemy. There are good reasons to favor zelensky’s response, but not this.

You’re right, Putin shouldn’t welcome war and harm to his political enemy. He should withdraw all forces immediately from occupied Ukraine.

          Yes.

And we shouldn’t cheer Ukraine carrying on the fight for it cuts into US profit. We must cheer the Resistance for it is their right to be free.

I’m cheering on the defenders who are defending their families and homeland. Don’t pervert that.
