I’ve thought, more than once, over this Epstein thing’s revelation that stories about demigods that you need to be extremely careful with might be more culturally relevant than the dominant mythology of an individual savior type.
Like years of one type of story might equip kids better to deal with unsavory predators. Even vampires and werewolves seem like they would be more helpful.

i think all religions carry some form of wisdom in them tbh. i think the problem lies with when you start acting like there is one true, valid, religion, and all others are a threat to yours.
