It remains remarkable that a group committed to “No Kings!” not only refuses to endorse impeachment but actively discourages other members from doing so. When it comes to accountability, Indivisible National seems to have fallen prey to the same malaise that has infected the 119th Congress. Like Congress, Indivisible discusses the anti-constitutional and illegal actions of the administration at length. Like Congress, its leaders fundraise heavily off of those abuses of power. And like Congress, Indivisible has simply refused to take any further action. To critics, the organization has transformed into a hollow shell of its former self, hoping no one pushes too hard on the facade.

…

The American people want Trump gone. Another September 2026 poll indicated that more than 70 percent of Democrats want to see Trump out of office by almost any means necessary: impeachment, 25th amendment, military coup, or death by natural causes. (Only the “assassination” option did not see a majority of respondents feeling positive.) Respondents were also asked whether they were “more likely to support a candidate in a Democratic party primary that regularly criticizes the Democratic Party establishment.” Nearly half of respondents agreed with that statement, with just 27 percent disagreeing—and these are dyed-in-the-wool Democrats, with 70 percent holding a positive view of the party.

In its most recent guide, Indivisible asks its members to consider whether actions they are taking “strengthen future Democratic candidates, weaken future Republican opponents, and build the base of involved, active people who will stay involved next year.” These polling results suggest that what engages voters, while strengthening both Democratic candidates and the Democratic party, is more than just a robust critique of the status quo. It’s a full-throated demand for accountability and a willingness to fight for it.

No Kings and 50501 are controlled opposition.

I might just have to do this shit myself.

Everyone post your general strike demands and group name suggestions below. Also, any ideas to build funds in the war chest are welcome; strikers are gonna need groceries after they’re fired.

Any web devs out there, a site will be needed to coordinate our movements and communications. Requirements will be clear once I have a better idea of what’s needed.

      1. Fire/impeach + remove every single Republican and DINO from Congress and send them to jail for cospiracy and corruption. Yes, even the “good” ones.

      2. Reverse every single thing that has come to fruition through Project 2025.

      3. Remove every single AI initiative from the government and reinstate any positions overtaken by AI.

      4. Investigate every single CEO who donated to Trump, MAGA, and the Republican PACs.

      5. Abolish: Citizens United, ICE, DHS, the Electoral College, Police Unions, Police.

Sincere question: what makes you think those organizations are controlled opposition? I’ve been thinking for a while it seemed weird that they dropped off the face of the earth basically since their last major protest, but I had ascribed it to being silenced by the algorithm and poor leadership organization. Sort of the same thing that killed Occupy. I guess I’m just wondering what are the tells to be looking for in the future that a group is not what it seems?

Those movements existed as a pressure release valve for slightly annoyed upper middle class white people. Make a poignant poster, snap a picture for your socials and fizzle on back to work at the orphan crushing factories.
