The wording in the article suggests that SS fucked up and shot a child while trying to shoot the guy. Though they left it just ambiguous enough to not risk hurting any fascist feelings.
I was thinking the same thing reading this article. Random citizen exercising his 2nd amendment right, SS shoots at him, he fires back, not knowing what’s going on, SS hits him and another random child. Our tax dollars will now be used to cover it all up.
