We should have more of these hard working people.

Immigrants who work yes definitely, those who don’t no thanks

The average immigrant is younger and there should be lower claimants, significantly lower, the benefits they bring should be overwhelming, otherwise what is the point

Labour is proposing to double the time before migrants are entitled to claim ILR from five to 10 years and to make it conditional on earning a wage, speaking English to a high standard and contributing to society.

    Sounds fair to me?

If you want to support them you are free to donate your wages to the 1.5 million, I’m sure you’re got lots to spare

I looked it up and the number for UK citizens is 23%

23% of all UK citizens are on universal credit? Where did you get that number from?

      https://uk.news.yahoo.com/welfare-numbers-facts-behind-britain-175034417.html

It’s the % of working age people, so anyone over 67 isn’t included in the UK figures, unlike the immigrant figures, so I’m not sure how your second point makes any sense. Pensions are the largest outgoings in welfare costs, so we really do need these eager young immigrants to inject money into the system because UK citizens are absolutely draining it dry.

Britain’s welfare bill has ballooned, with 23 per cent of the working-age population now in receipt of some form of benefits, figures analysed by The Independent reveal.

That would include the immigrants as well ?

You blocked me so I guess we’ll never know!
