New Democrats today called on Prime Minister Carney to cancel the F-35 fighter jet order, including the 16 initial fighter jets, with the United States and instead commit to purchasing the Swedish Saab Gripen fighter jets to defend Canada in partnership with like-minded ally countries.

    All I want for Christmas is an Avi Lewis NDP Federal Government. Even just one term will restore a lot of my faith in the world. Can we please work on this.

    We don’t necessarily need a commitment to Saab, not that I’m against the Swedish. I’m very fond of Sweden, but I think we need to consider hopping on the 6th gen boat with someone, the same way we did with the F-35 program.

    Oh yah this again. So we well cancel the contract pay a penalty again and what. The NDP well never win a majority and I and others well never vote for them. If they do not like white men do not expect white men to vote for them.
