I think it’s a fine adjective for chattel slavery. I chose it specifically to aggravate the types who’d be sympathetic to the confederacy. It’s a direct response to the phrase “particular institution” that confederates prefer.
Don’t bring Satan into this. Satan being equal to Lucifer, his only sin being the act of rebellion - giving humanity free will. I don’t know about you but to me, free will is kind of polar opposite of slavery.
