I asked if we could repair my long sitting bike for mothers day last weekend. Got it back yesterday in tip top shape, and it is gorgeous

When for a ride with mt son yesterday, my bum hurt a bit, Im a bit out of shape, and it was amazing

Going out riding again today. This has been the highlight of my year. I love it so much. Im gonna gain some confidece riding the neighborhood a bit, and hit up the Air Line trail, I am just, beyond thrilled!

Im proud cuz I advocated for myself. I dont make requests often, I put my needs last, but I advocated for this, and Im happy I made an excellect decision. I said dont get me anything for mothersday, I just want my bike fixed. Idk, Im proud I am not afraid to go out on it, and I like this part of me. I feel like I got myself back. A little bit of who I was before becoming a mother :)

That’s a great thing to do! It’s exercise, and asking for the fixed bike for mother’s day is a lovely idea. It teaches your son skills, that behaviour matters more than gifts, and is a really nice memory. Then you get to make more memories on your bike together!
