When I was still 'rocking “men’s” fashion, the ads were much simpler.
“Luxury watches. Now for luxury men, only €999.”
The fashion though, was also notably shittier in that it’s dim. Take women’s fashion, remove all the interesting patterns and curves and swirls. Change the colourfulness until it’s best described as “depressed pastel trying to be cheerful”.
Sweaters and trousers, maybe a scarf if you’re feeling avocado toasty.
There you go, that’s 99% of “men’s” fashion. Thank fuck I moved on from that and realised, why be bound by that? I now shop in whatever I like. If it’s women’s or men’s or a genderfuck, idc, if I like it I like it. :3
Being a woman in that regard liberated me, tbh. I feel men’s fashion could use some spruce up, too! skirts for men, swirls and curves, all fun stuff.
Men’s color palettes are awful. I can’t count the number of times I’ve read menswear advice that tells readers to wear colors from nature, and then pretends that flowers, sunsets, and rainbows don’t exist.
Looking out of the board room window: see grey parking lots, black railings, white cars, a single patch of green and brown trees, all under a hazy, pale blue sky.
Board members turn to each other: “Yes, these are nature colors.”
I think I could be into men if they paid more attention to their manner of dress. I find they’re usually quite colourless and plain, and that’s just not attractive to me.

Colors are good I like colors.

And then they forget to look at other perspectives:
a red dawn,
the orange rise, the yellow light,
a green grass
bluish water and sky
purple flowers
white clouds and black panthers
nature is so much more colourful and unique than one might expect, and that’s the beauty of it.
Nothing
Congrats on your transition, ma’am!

Anytime someone says “do X from nature” they generally have little knowledge of what nature has.
Parasite Proboscis Pink is big in Japan currently.
