So, the longer skirt doesn’t feel weird! I tried the shorter skirt, yeah, doesn’t feel right- but the one that is softer and goes down to just below the knees? it’s nice and I think I’m just gonna… wear it or jean shorts around the house now. :3

Awesome! I remember wearing my first; couldn’t get it off me!

I find tights help to wear skimpier things as I’m self consciousness about my legs and it helps with the exposed feeling. I usually go for something a little more substantial than nylons.

No Nonsense makes reinforced tights that tend to last a little longer.

I love fleece tights as they are very substantial and some have a faux sheer look. They are too hot in warmer months / climates though.

It took me a minute to get used to the feeling of a skirt on my bare thighs. But if you have trouble with it, you can always wear tights or leggings! I do that during the cold months anyway, but I do like the freeing feeling of wearing nothing over my legs except a skirt and panties (and socksand shoes I suppose). I tend to like the feeling of 100% cotton skirts or rayon skirts the most, as my skin doesn’t tolerate nylon or polyester very well.

I also struggle a little with mini and micro skirts. They leave me feeling a little too exposed (and scared of flashing people). I tend to like my above knee, on knee, and midi skirts more (in that order). Maxi is too long for me unless it’s for something really formal (I have a pretty sexy open back maxi dress that would be great for formal events)
