Mules, not horses
For my edification, how do you tell them apart?
Slightly longer ears. Dark faces with a light nose. Most brown or black horses tend to have brown or black noses - only donkeys, mules and some primitive horse breeds have the lighter nose. Can’t see their tails, but they would be slightly thinner than a horse’s.
Cool, thank you!
Hmm I wonder if the names written on top are the names of the animals?
I would have guessed so myself, but the source says horses via Google Translate, and I’m generally hesitant to contradict sources on subjects I know very little about.
I’m Portuguese, I’ll help. The title says horse water trough. It’s not referring to the animals depicted
I’ll change the title, then!
Yes, ‘bebedouro’ means water trough. I think it all means ‘Water trough, cross road Rua Cel. Bordini with Rua Cristovão Colombo’ - I now realize it’s street names probably.
