      That’s why I never set “clean this room” as my goal. I always use “clean this room a bit” because doing a bit once a week has been far more successful (until now, at least). But then it gets messy again and I have to find the will to start my weekly bits again, which is hard q-q

      Adhd “hack”, sams club mattesses are relativly cheap and have a zipper to take the top layer off to wash. Saved my ass when I was cleaning my room after a deperssive episode and could make the bed feel like new again

        Mattress protectors exist too. It’s just a good idea do have one on your bed, especially if you ever think it’s possible there could be any kind of mess that could penetrate your sheets. Mattresses are expensive af.

    My room is the only room that suffers this fate because nobody else gets to see it, so no pressures keep me focused. Living room, kitchen and guest bathroom? Spotless.
