Groupwork gotta groupwork. It might not have been an insult
Gotta tell my coworker today that his code is absolute dogshit and that me and one other guy are going to rewrite the whole thing. He is such a nice person though, I hope I won’t break his heart.
If i was a coder and my code was dogshit i would want to know so i can improve upon it. It’s chill. Frame it as “here’s what I want you to bear in mind when programming something in future”

owning it is the only way, no need for shame either

Because he’s insecure about it? Or do you have a virgin-radar
