On top of Bazzite it seems like there is a new wave of immutable linux operating systems, do you think there is interest in a general community about immutable linux distros? I linked to this article as a general explanation of the the Fedora immutable operating systems, but Bazzite is also another one that is actually specifically focused on gaming.
I feel like the Steam hardware community could benefit from collecting useful tips and tools from people tackling similar problems we do with Steam Decks that people have on other immutable-core operating systems.
Distrobox use for various different things that otherwise would be a pain with an immutable operating system obviously being a big one!



Ok sure they aren’t new but do you not think there is a rising interest in these operating systems? Especially for gaming purposes where more and more people want an immutable linux distro for the consistency and reliability?
My point is there is a natural intersection of interest here between people who want a good linux video game focused immutable distros and people who want immutable linux distros for things other than gaming like development for example.
