Fedora offers two different takes on an immutable option, each of which might be similar on the inside, but on the outside, they couldn't be more different.

On top of Bazzite it seems like there is a new wave of immutable linux operating systems, do you think there is interest in a general community about immutable linux distros? I linked to this article as a general explanation of the the Fedora immutable operating systems, but Bazzite is also another one that is actually specifically focused on gaming.

I feel like the Steam hardware community could benefit from collecting useful tips and tools from people tackling similar problems we do with Steam Decks that people have on other immutable-core operating systems.

Distrobox use for various different things that otherwise would be a pain with an immutable operating system obviously being a big one!

    i also do not need or want yet another package manager and binary repos in brew, and brew doesn’t have that much i’d be looking at anyway.

    And yet brew is available out of the box. As is distrobox. Still no idea what your clipboard comment has to do with anything.
