Finally. They are probably the last Europe car maker that still has no dedicated bev platform and have always had compromised multifuel solutions with even their latest cars. This not only limits the optimizations you can make for manufacturing, performance and passenger space/comfort, but it also signals to the potential buyers you are not committed long term and are not serious about the tech. And some half a year or so ago - they even said they are gonna pull back on the bev side of business. Only now that the price of fuel and China offerings are knocking at the door, are they changing the story. Are the top management of all the companies becoming imbeciles over night? As a guy that is currently driving a stellantis car (well, they weren’t stellantis back then) - fuck you, I don’t believe you and won’t consider your cars for a future ev, unless you trully commit and then some.
