    Not sure about the logic there. Canada can just buy Canadian, its the U.S. alcohol makers getting fucked.

      I don’t even buy US apple any more. Been going on 2 years of home made/baking meals with Canadian meat, flour, and vegetables.

        My fucking grocery store sells 10 kinds of apples and 9 are from the US. The other is imported from New Zealand. Don’t we grow apples?! Ffs

          It’s not viable economically. Orchards with decades-old trees were uprooted for something else. Sometimes that ‘something’ is shitty wood-frame housing (fire’s favourite food).
