Whew, I’m feeling pretty good for not using Letterboxd as I was considering moving to it a while back. The platform started off good but it kind of devolved into every review trying to be a funny one liner instead of actually reviewing the movie.
I also found it very weird that Letterboxd doesn’t have any TV shows, it’s only movies.
I only recently started using Letterboxd and I noticed the same thing about their movie reviews. Everyone tries to come up with the snarkiest comment that will get voted to the very top.
It became that way shortly after it blew up a year or so ago. If you find some reviewers you like or have similar taste, just seeing their reviews on top and browsing their lists makes the site a lot more friendly.
There are certain TV series on letterboxd now, though not sure you can filter for them specifically. The only way I’ve been able to tell us runtime being several hours.
For example Pam & Tommy (2022) is a limited series on there plus Lessons in Chemistry (2023).

They promised show support years ago but for some reason people were really insistent that LB should remain movie only.
It’s been announced as coming “later this year” for the last three years.
