New polling data from Ipsos in the UK, conducted 8–9 July 2026, explores public attitudes to Nigel Farage’s decision to resign as an MP and force a by-election in Clacton, what they think of the ongoing parliamentary investigation into Nigel Farage and who the public would prefer to win that by-election.

This is a poll of the UK public in general, not the people of Clacton, so it doesn’t show that Binface is leading in Clacton. But it’s interesting that the British public prefer Binface to Farage.
