It doesn’t. And I have no idea why they argue that way. I just said that I didn’t read the pronouns as being gender specific. This might be to do with my nationality and hence warped perception of language.
I just said that I didn’t read it as being gendered at first. And get attacked for it.
I have to admit I was a little confused when you first replied to me as well. Probably just a language barrier thing.
What I tried to say was that you don’t need to read the pronouns in the post to understand the meaning. Hence I didn’t. I don’t know how to explain this in plain English.
