The author of this doesn’t get that Titanfall 2’s story is why it is so beloved, the game play is great to, but this looks to be just a multiplayer shooter with parkour
I spent over a thousand hours in both the titanfall games, loved the single player, but you think that’s the part I dumped a chunk of my entire teens and early twenties into?
I didn’t say it wasn’t fun, it was fucking excellent. I’m just saying that’s not the part that resonated with people.
The single player campaign was damn near perfect, it’s the soul of the game and why people have a nerdgasm when someone says “Protocol 3: protect the pilot”
Without the single player campaign it’s just another shooter with cool mechanics
