How would you get a small cylinder (5.1in length, ~4.5in girth) unstuck from a mini M&Ms tube filled with butter and microwaved mashed banana?

There is a thread, don’t recall if it’s a green text, or from reddit, but this person kept asking for help on how to get a “tube” out of the M&Ms container, but that the “tube” needed to be protected
No harm must come to the tube!
He kept calling it a cylinder and said that it was imperative the cylinder remain unharmed.
I’ve never seen a solid plastic container for m&ms
Im in canada and they have them, or at least had them for the m&m minis
I have only seen slightly bigger than finger sized ones for M&M minis which makes the thread even funnier.
They’re all over the place. Even Dick’s sells them.
That explains it, must something in north America then, or I just didn’t really paid attention in here
