A Dutch student team on Tuesday unveiled what it believes to be the world's first solar-powered ambulance, which it hopes can bring much-needed medical care to the remotest parts of the globe.
The vehicle isn’t an emergency ambulance, it’s designed to provide a mobile medical facility to run tests in remote areas that don’t have reliable electricity.
The vehicle is designed to bring health care to the patient, rather than transport them to hospitals. It contains testing kits for tuberculosis, cooled storage for vaccines and ultrasound equipment for pregnant women.
Only for summertime / daytime heart attacks.
