The first one is a LOT easier. There’s a nice tutorial and it builds on itself. The tutorial for silksong is hollow knight. It’s made to be hard. They did update it to be a little easier a few weeks after launch though.
Feel like Silksong frontloaded a lot of difficulty personally. After I built up a kit I didn’t really have any more “Try this fight 30 times” situations.
Can’t speak for everyone ofc, but the swamp boss was the only really painful part and that was mostly due to runback. Nothing else really fucked me up like some of those act 1 bosses
I got to the last few bosses in act 3 and then got sidetracked by something else for a while which was a big mistake. Now I just have hard bosses and nothing else so I’ve been a bit stuck. I know I CAN beat them, but it will take a lot more work than if I were to just have pushed through initially. I think I’ll probably just restart soon and commit to doing it all this time.

Until you get to act 3, and then it ramps up again.

I still dud but only because I kept experimenting with my loadout and nothing worked for me until I found the set that worked for me
