    Maybe for anyone who just picks a movie to go to based on title alone. But how many movies would do well with that? Just seeing the movie poster should be enough to realize it’s some sort of space thingy.

      Yeah, I’d only make that mistake if I literally heard nothing about it and completely ignored the poster with Ryan Gosling on it when walking up to the box office.

      Personally speaking, I didn’t really want to go see it but went with a friend who did. Even if I had seen the trailers and known the premise, any indication of it possibly being religious or having a very religious character would have pushed me away from it.

      There are a lot more mediums and availability of entertainment competing for people’s time these days, I won’t waste a moment on some old white guy’s religious bullshit.

      The thing about religion is that it is invasive and all corrupting. Religious people are taught from a young age that all good things come from god, ALL OF THEM.
