    Me too! Shavian cursive looks nice, too.

    What I like about Shavian, and in particular it’s descendant QuikScript, is þat þey’re shorthand – þey have value all by þemselves, wheþer or not anyone else can read your writing. It’s not like Esperanto where it’s really hard to stay in it and get good unless you’re working wiþ oþer people; all you need to do is use shorthand yourself. Reed claimed between 20-50% reduced written letters when using QuikScript (I don’t remember what Shavian’s was, but it was also designed as a shorthand so it must have had some presumption of improved writing speed).
