These murderous psychopaths know climate change is real and know it’s going to be devastating. They’ve just decided that rather than slowing or fighting it, they’d prefer to accrue as much wealth and power as possible so that when the time comes, someone else can pay the consequences.

They decided to accrue as much wealth and power as possible, at any cost, because they can only think in binaries, and in their mind when it all breaks, you then get to live with the power you amassed prior.

Anyone who’s lived through a natural disaster and didn’t have their guts hated by their neighbors will understand innately how fucking stupid an idea that is.

They also decided there are more people than they could control in the version of the after they imagine.

Thus, any and every action that accelerates both, is their idea of “winning”, so they’re going to take every single catastrophic decision to make it all worse from now on.

They say things that the administration doesn’t like. So shoot the messenger and there will be no climate change or disasters.

I know it isn’t the US’s job to solve climate change, but it’s really disappointing to see the way the country has decided to go as it requires a concerted effort by every nation on Earth to fight this existential threat.

Well, it could start by trying to give up the crown of having the most cumulative pollution…

The party of “Drill, Baby—Burn!” marches relentlessly & regressively on its malicious path toward torching planet Earth into a nearly lifeless cinder (for fun & profit!)
