Okay, sorry this took so long but I FINALLY managed to meet back up with the guy who’s leading that part of the project and he gave me some resources for you!
Bill Zeedyk - Induced Meandering (book)
Brad Lancaster - Rainwater Harvesting (book and also on YouTube)
Tom Rau - Urban Water Group, he recommended them as a resource but I think this is just LA specific. You might still be able to get ideas from their press releases/promotional stuff
Again, sorry this took so long and I hope this gives you a good jumping off point!
Wow, that is really appreciated! Thank you so much for taking the time and staying on it, from me and the water of my landscape! I’ll check these out, really curious to dive into this. In the meantime I have been exploring the terraces on top of my house and found 5 water places in a landscape that seems completely dry after the hot summer, I’m beyond excited! I have also used natural granite to build a tiny water retention tank to extend the all year running source (just a trickle now, no good rain yet). Now it runs towards the garden lands and creates a moisture deposit closer to the surface that reaches longer into summer. Such good stuff, such low tech. Just me and a ‘sacho’.

I hope you’re able to do something cool with it! Post pics somewhere on solarpunk to show it off when you’re done if you’re comfortable with it 👍
