    I think we can fruitfully improve security and user agency in browsers; for one thing, having a huge community working on a few browsers means more opportunity to quickly respond to user-hostile threats.

    For that to happen though, we might need to wrest control of the browser projects from Google (Chromium), from Google (Firefox), and from Apple (Safari). Or bring community-owned projects to better prominence.

      Yeah, I… might still have a little bit of hope for Ladybird, but I’m really concerned about it. It seems like a) it may be pretty AI sloppy and b) they seem to be pretty in-bed with FUTO. Both of those seem like huge red flags to me.

      I dunno. Maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised, but I’m worried.
