The year is 2030. The lemmyverse has been completely divided between pro-AI and anti-AI camps. 95% of account activity is on /c/enoughludditespam and /c/fuckai. 60% of accounts are virtually locked out of the lemmyverse for perceived pro- and anti-AI biases.
Then some users decide they want to go to fucking war over it and that the other side should be burnt down and wiped from existence over the issue.
I notice it happening right now, so I don’t see people waiting until 2030.
