The German government approved nearly €800 million ($930 million) in military equipment export licenses to ‘Israel’ between January and June 2026, according to official data released Wednesday by the Economic Affairs Ministry.
The data, released in response to a parliamentary inquiry by the opposition Left Party and reported by Der Spiegel, show that the value of military exports approved in the first six months of 2026 was more than four times the total amount approved for all of 2025.
Just imagine all the planning involved in building and moving all these weapons, the suppliers and sub contractors, the paperwork!
