The only time I’ve ever bought “luxury” brands was when I found them in shops like Winners (TJ Maxx in the USA). Sometimes it’s been a good buy, sometimes I think “Huh, glad I didn’t pay the full suggested retail price”.

I will get back to the outside work that was interrupted by a massive dump of snow on Friday. I have cleaned my dryer vent cap and got the flapper working again, now I will make a hinged wired cover from some hardware cloth that a kind person on the local Freecycle group gave me. Just have to figure out the best way to attach it.

I tend to toss the box, at least after the store return period ends. My partner keeps them. We still have boxes for appliances that have been gone for years.
