  • I’m so sorry for you and wish you strength. If it helps, here is a virtual hug: 🫂

I don’t remember if you’ve written about it in the past, but you’re talking to a medical/psychological professional about this dysphoria, right? What’s their reaction, if so?

I’m sorry for a low effort tip, but does wearing some comfortable(!) underwear help to focus less on those body parts?

  • Not eli5, I’ll try:

The joke is to submit the questionnaire with a provocative answer, which might put people on edge.

Teaching Marx(ism), would generally help to understand the world and actually improve the academic program. Thus, it is possibly an actually good answer. Marxism concludes in a critique of capitalism, however even without teaching that part, if you are equipped with an understanding of the world and your position in it, you can autonomously conclude why capitalism is detrimental and needs to be overcome.

In capitalism, however, the ruling class (bourgeoisie) generally frowns upon the education of the masses, if it might lead them to challenge the(ir) dictatorship of capital.

The person looking through the submissions is definitely not part of the ruling class, but might act in anticipatory obedience. Also they might be influenced by propaganda (Red Scare) enough to actually believe that teaching Marx is bad. This makes the suggestion unlikely to actually be taken serious, let alone to be implemented.

The science of how to overcome capitalism isn’t addressed by Marx in much detail and will be covered in the next chapter (Marxism-Leninism)

I linked to Wikipedia for convenience, but note that Wikipedia isn’t the best source for studying this.

  • Hi, nice to meet you!❤️ First, it’s a lot better to ramble than to stay quiet (source: I am/was a long time lurker).

It’s completely understandable to feel exposed with short dresses or skirts. You don’t need to throw it out just yet, just give it a while and see how your feelings evolve. It’s also fine to have clothes you only wear at home. If you don’t feel comfortable with it either way, that’s fine too! You don’t have to like everything or fit a cliché.

Though I’m talking with barely any experience myself (31, pre-hrt). I had sleeping dresses since I was about 13. Recently got my first non-sleeping dresses and… Well, I shared your feelings of being exposed. “This can’t be that short, right?!”, though it was barely any shorter than my sleeping dresses. Starting to go outside with the dress that I felt most comfortable with, first, felt like a smart choice. Can’t wait to get my hands on some skirts!
