I would have exhaled slightly harder. Maybe. But I would make some quip in response

At least you get an answer. And an immediate one at that

Programming@programming.dev•Ladies and gentleman, we have reached peak Agentic AI Coding - Goblin instructions in OpenAI's Codex system prompt
31·13 days agoNope, it does the same thing:
Pi’s minimal system prompt and extensibility let you do actual context engineering. Control what goes into the context window and how it’s managed.
AGENTS.md: Project instructions loaded at startup from ~/.pi/agent/, parent directories, and the current directory.
SYSTEM.md: Replace or append to the default system prompt per-project.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Am I the only one that believe the US has to go through some sort of painful transition/civil war/revolution to fix it? Is reforms from Democrats enough?
1·16 days agoAccording to Republicans, that’s what skin color is for
That would be a homograph attack: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IDN_homograph_attack

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•How likely is it that there's an animal on earth that's smarter than human beings in key areas?
1·21 days ago“The ability to acquire, understand, and use knowledge.”
Someone having faster reflexes giving them the ability to catch fast moving objects is not a matter of knowledge, but muscle strength and agility.
The same would go for running, or swimming, or catching a fish with giant claws.
When doing things, it’s whether the limiting factor is physical or if it’s information they have or don’t have.
I suppose with running, for example, there will be a lot of knowledge for running technique. But no amount of technique or breathing exercise would make up for lack of muscle.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•How likely is it that there's an animal on earth that's smarter than human beings in key areas?
1·21 days agoMost of those do not fit “smarter” by my understanding of the word. Someone that can run or swim faster than me is not smarter than me. Someone more skilled in shooting a gun is not smarter, either. Most of these abilities are separate from intelligence

Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•[Controller] Think these people will be disappointed
9·22 days agoThey’re definitely counting abandoned and inactive carts in that stat.
Sure. Plenty of people use the shopping cart to save items too, without a strong intention of buying it.
That is still very different from those scam sites that literally generate a random number.

Steam Hardware@sopuli.xyz•[Controller] Think these people will be disappointed
9·22 days agoAre you saying the “16 in cart” and “470 sold” are a lie? In most cases, that would be true. However eBay does show real stats. Sellers can confirm what is being shown, and eBay shows real numbers. Now how much those mean is a different story.

As an American, I take offense to this. We would never use kilometers
It entirely depends on if the parents being well-off allowed their kid to get a degree they aren’t really qualified for because they could use money as a crutch.
