2·2 days agoI’d guess this is a Separation of Church and State breakdown. The bible asserts that god made man and woman, and further, that is an expression of divine will. As Donald Capps wrote, religion and abuse are perfect together.

Global News@lemmy.zip•US | Trump's 'Golden Dome' will cost $1.2tn and might not stop all-out missile attackEnglish
19·10 days agoI’d rather have Nationalized Health Care and more social services in general. The more military and defenses the US builds, the more they need, while the quality of life of the masses decreases. In the 1950s, if a US citizen had a high school degree and a job, they could get a mortgage and buy a house. Those days are long gone. Maybe the solution is spending less on the military and defenses so we can concentrate on raising the standard of living of the masses? If not, then just what are they trying so hard to save? Lifestyles of the rich and famous?

4·11 days agoHow is any citizen supposed to follow the laws of two different countries?
Chan says Hong Kongers, some who are Canadian citizens, have faced surveillance, intimidation and pressure directed at themselves and their families by Chinese authorities. He wants to see if the text of the MOU contains oversight mechanisms to limit the reach of China’s security apparatus.

19·18 days agoI understand the article topic is enforced sanctions on third parties. That however was not quite what I was getting at, as my question was about two parties, a buyer and a seller: an atheist entity and a religious entity. Also, I note you didn’t answer my question about the source of your atheism quote.

What is the source of your quote? Refusing to buy something from a seller is punishment of the seller?

Housing is typically built near jobs. Mobile homes are generally a less expensive form of housing.
